Age and Dementia Awareness Session

Join Sarah Prescott from Leeds Older People’s Forum for an engaging session designed to help businesses across Leeds become more accessible, inclusive and welcoming to older people and individuals living with dementia.
As part of the Age and Dementia Friendly Business Scheme, this session will introduce simple and practical steps that your business can take to support all customers, therefore helping to create a city where everyone can feel valued and included.

Alongside the opportunity to find out more about the scheme, Sarah will also be delivering a Dementia Friends Awareness Session. A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so they can help their workplace, community or family be more dementia friendly.
Learn about how dementia can affect a person and turn this understanding into action. Explore how small actions in the workplace and community can make a big difference.
