Time to Feel Good About Ageing! An event focusing on celebrating ageing and the good things about getting older...

Time to Shine are delighted to welcome keynote speaker Maggy Pigott to Leeds. Maggy is the author of How to Age Joyfully. Drawing on evidence and Maggy's personal experience, Maggy will talk through the eight lifestyle actions, behaviours and attitudes that can add life to your years, as well as years to your life.

Age Proud Leeds is a campaign to raise awareness of ageism and change negative attitudes about ageing and older people. Find out how you can get involved in the campaign and help us in our mission to make Leeds an Age Friendly place!

Whatever your ability, everyone is welcome!To round the session off a dance artist from Yorkshire Dance will deliver an uplifting, creative and accessible dance session. With movements to promote body awareness, holistic health and fitness. Shake your hips, get your groove on and dance along. Do as much or as little as you like, you can be seated or standing. The session is adaptable to different mobility levels, so come along and enjoy the joy of dancing together.
