aGender AGM 2016
Event Information
Description
What’s aGender’s agenda?
We have great pleasure in inviting you to aGender Arts & Education’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday 20th October, from 6pm for 6:30pm start, at Hastings Pier, in the Memories Room.
It’s a great opportunity to have a drink, celebrate our recent achievements, hear about the difference we’ve made and find out about our exciting new plans.
What have we been up to?
It’s been a hugely exciting year for aGender. In the last six months alone we’ve completed two ‘As You Are’ programmes and held a De La Warr Pavilion exhibition of young people's work; engaging fifty two young people, mostly from Tressell and Baird Wards, 35 family members and 10 young ‘graduate’ volunteers and helpers. This work was kindly funded by Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning Group (NHS) and Sussex Community Foundation, Orbit South Housing Association and North East Hastings Big Local.
We have won a Hastings Youth Award, for the second year running, in recognition of our firm commitment to involving young people in our practice.
We can’t wait to tell you the difference this has made to young people and invite you to join us as a member.
The trustees have been hard at work too – we will be launching our exciting new, three-year strategy at this event.
