Event Details

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of agile working at our brand new event, ‘Agile working: promoting health, productivity and flexibility’.

This free, day-long event will take you on a journey through the core principles and challenges of managing an agile workforce. It will be delivered in three parts:

Part 1 - A day in the life of an agile worker

Speakers: Scott Bottomer & Katharine Metters
Bio's: Scott has worked for Posturite for eight years covering the Scotland territory. Previously he has held roles as an assessor, account manager, and now as a key account manager. He currently also leads the agile working team within Posturite and has overseen the development of agile working offerings throughout the company.

Katharine is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, holds a Masters Degree in Ergonomics and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Safety and Health. This unique combination of qualifications, together with her vast range of experience working within healthcare, food, retail and utility sectors, enables Katharine to offer a very broad based range of training, education and health & safety management in the workplace.

Part 2 - Training a workforce on the move

Speaker: Ryan Church
Bio: Prior to joining Posturite, Ryan spent three years as a personal trainer and a further three in the telecoms industry. This gave him a sound understanding of both the human body and the various technologies that can be found in the marketplace, all of which can be closely related to the products and services provided by Posturite’s WorkRite division. His role now is primarily to ensure our customers understand the features and benefits of our suite of e-learning courses and systems.

Part 3 - Legal considerations around agile working
Speaker: TBC

Alongside these educational talks, you will be provided with lunch, refreshments and a mini exhibition featuring some of our core agile working products. The exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for you to see and try out many of the products you may have seen online, including sit-stand desks, ergonomic chairs and ergonomic accessories for tablets and laptops. Our experts will be on-hand to answer any questions you have about agile working or anything else related to workplace health, happiness and productivity - plus you’ll be able to take home many free resources, including advice sheets, posters and flyers.

Who should go?

Our agile working event is open to anybody with an interest in agile working - whether you’re an existing client, a business owner, manager, or a professional in employee health, safety, wellbeing, or procurement.

Posturite Ltd

Posturite is the UK market leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of posture-improving products for the workplace and the only company providing health and safety consultancy, training, software and product on a national basis.

Our products – those we design and manufacture ourselves and those we distribute on behalf of international business partners with a worldwide reputation for ergonomic excellence – are to be found in thousands of offices up and down the country. Scores of Britain’s blue chip companies and the vast majority of the country’s local authorities and police forces have turned to Posturite to provide them with the expertise and equipment to help protect their employees against back problems and work-related upper limb disorders.

And we are still expanding. Over the past five years, sales have grown at an average 20% a year and we are proud to say that every month we help over 500 people back to work.

We employ over 150 staff, including a sales force of 75 account managers who service our client base throughout the UK. All of them are fully trained as DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessors and some are qualified physiotherapists and ergonomists.
