Event description

Description

A structured, half day event that allows Mentors to support a number of Founders through a one-off commitment.

Over a 4 hour period, Mentors meet up to 4 Founders, scheduled in 45minute sessions at;

0900hrs; 1000hrs; 1100hrs; 1200hrs

In advance of each meeting, Founders will asked to share up to 3 business challenges they are facing during this phase of Elevator's Accelerator Programme. Founders are also asked to bring a current copy of their Business Model Canvas to the session.

Following an introductory statement from each Founder, the objective of the 45minute session is for Mentors to agitate the Founders thinking through shared insight and Socratic inquiry, unlocking new thoughts and opportunities for the Founder to capture and update in their own Accelerator Journal, with a list of action points they must progress.

Each Founder's needs are likely to differ, so the skill of the Agitation Station Mentor is one of quickly assessing the sticking points and areas in which they can offer most valuable insight for one Founder, before possibly switching to a different area of expertise with another Founder.

THIS CONVERSATION HELPS ACCELERATE FOUNDERS THROUGH EACH PHASE OF THE PROGRAMME, SUPPORTING THEM AS THEY WORK TOWARDS STAGE GATE DISCUSSIONS THAT DETERMINE THEIR PATHWAY TO PITCH, PIVOT OR PROGRESS THEIR BUSINESS THROUGH THE REMAINING PROGRAMME.

The commitment of an Agitation Station Mentor may be for a single, one off occurence, or alternatively, a Mentor may elect to sign up for muitliple Agitation Stations across the 12 week programme. Both are very welcome contributions to the programme.
