How to be a Great Manager and a Champion for Justice
Have you ever felt like you wish someone had told you how to manage effectively and in a way that generates engaged, productive employees?
Alister takes a common sense look at the skills needed for you to become an effective manager in the modern world by adopting a “firm but fair” attitude to your management style that makes a real difference to your employees.
About the Speaker:
Alasdair Ross has spent many years learning how to manage people through the practical application of a fair and common sense approach.
On his journey to running a successful HR consultancy, Alasdair has worked with management teams and employees in both Corporate life and Public Service worldwide for over 36 years. This has, he claims, given him a unique insight into the management of multi-cultural issues and differing employee personalities and ambitions.
In writing his book, Alasdair expresses his desire that he wished someone had “told him how to get it right in the first place” and that even strong managers can learn a new trick or two on how to make a real difference in the workplace.
