Synopsis
Join the BCS Hertfordshire Branch for our Annual General Meeting in the historic setting of Hertford Museum.
We’ll begin in The Andrews Room, where members will hear branch updates, review the past year’s activities, and help shape plans for the year ahead.
Following the AGM, enjoy a relaxed lunch with fellow members and guests — a great opportunity to network, share ideas, and connect with like-minded professionals.
In the afternoon, we’ll take a guided tour of Hertford Museum, exploring its fascinating collections of archaeology, art, toys, and world cultures. The museum’s exhibits offer insights into Hertford’s rich heritage, as well as stories from further afield.
Delegates will leave with:
- A clear understanding of the branch’s progress and future plans.
- New professional and social connections within the BCS community.
- An appreciation of Hertford’s local history and museum curation.
- A unique opportunity to explore the museum beyond the standard visitor experience.
The official event will finish at 4:00 PM, but you are welcome to continue exploring the museum until it closes at 5:00 PM.
Free to attend for members and non-members, with lunch provided. Advance booking is essential.
