Within this 3-hour session we will be covering some of the hottest issues in the student recruitment industry with insight into the latest trends in Diversity. This event will allow you to network amongst your peers and gain further insight into the challenges they are currently facing and how to overcome them.

Session overview:

''Driving Inclusion and Diversity within Emerging Talent at Lloyds Banking Group''
Arbi Rai, Senior Recruitment Manager - Emerging Talent Programmes
Natalie Horrobin, Emerging Talent Recruitment Manager
Lloyds Banking Group

The session will focus on why inclusion and diversity has played a significant role within the Emerging Talent Strategy at Lloyds Banking Group, how this underpins and aligns to the organisations strategy and purpose, how the recruitment process was designed and implemented to recruit the best talent across the different demographics and what has been achieved and the impact of this.

‘’Improving diversity on Civil Service Fast Stream Graduate programme’'.
Patrick Brown, Head of Diversity for Fast Stream and Early Talent, Civil Service Human Resources, Cabinet Office

During our last recruitment campaign, we made a number of significant and innovative changes to our attraction and selection processes which have helped us to improve the diversity of our graduate intake.
I plan to highlight the challenges we faced during our recruitment campaign, the strategies and approach we adopted and finally share our campaign results.
The session will provide attendees with practical advice on developing graduate campaigns targeting diverse candidates. It will be an opportunity to share information and best practice within the graduate diversity space.

The Social Mobility Employer Index – Key findings
Kathryn Davies, Employer Index Manager, The Social Mobility Foundation

The Social Mobility Employer Index is a joint initiative between the Social Mobility Foundation and the Social Mobility Commission, in partnership with the City of London Corporation. It ranks Britain’s employers for the first time on the actions they are taking to ensure they are open to accessing and progressing talent from all backgrounds and it showcases progress towards improving social mobility. The session will explore key findings from the 2017 Index submissions and give an overview of the changes being made for 2018.
