AGR Apprenticeship Survey – your input
We want your input. To help you make robust decisions around hiring and training apprenticeships, AGR is planning an Apprenticeship Survey in May with the aim of sharing industry trends at our Annual Conference. This is your chance to discuss and shape the questions that we ask, to maximise their usefulness to you.
Degree Apprenticeships (Dr John Lanham, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director of Strategic Regional Partnerships, UWE)
UWE-Bristol is leading one of eight HEFCE funded Degree Apprenticeship development pilots. In collaboration with four regional Further Education college partners, UWE secured £350,000 to support the development and launch of a portfolio of Degree Apprenticeships at UWE and the colleges. The project lead – Dr John Lanham – will present and reflect on the journey and experience of the project thus far as UWE and its partner colleges have collaborated to develop and launch a portfolio of Degree Apprenticeships for September 2017.
There will be also a representative of the Defence Equipment and Support (part of Ministry of Defence) - key partner of the UWE who will share their insights from an employer perspective.
