Event Details

Spend the day at The Morley Agricultural Foundation to explore how young scientists and farmers can work together to improve the agriculture industry and meet the global food challenges of the future.

Leading Change Through Innovation – Tackling the challenges and opportunities of the next decade, is the theme for our 2018 Young Innovators’ Forum conference. Free to attend and open to all keen to learn.

We can’t ignore the changing political landscape so we’re thinking about some of the opportunities and challenges that might present themselves to the agriculture industry in the coming years, and how we might use them to our advantage.

With practical workshops and sight of current research, come and be inspired!

Keynote Speakers include Susie Emmett, Green shoots Productions. She’ll be talking about how to communciate through film for agriculture including a mix of practical tips as well as why people don’t communicate better.

Emily Smith, Knowledge Transfer Manager at AHDB, will be covering the importance of taking science through from the lab into practice infield – wher you can find out about research, how to communicate it from the research base to the end users, and how we can work together to face future challenges.

Bringing together science and farming to help each understand more about the other.
