Agro-Ecology Early Careers Event: Roles of Ecologists in Agriculture
Fri 14 October 2016, 10:00 – 17:00 BST
Wondering where careers in agroecology lead after a PhD?
Join us at this event to hear from four established scientists about the diverse roles of ecology in agriculture, and find out what possibilities await you! It will be a great platform for sharing ideas and networking with other early career researchers.
Invited speakers include:
Dr Niamh McHugh, Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust
Clare Pinches, Natural England
Dr Mark Ramsden, ADAS UK Ltd
Dr Georgina Key, Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board
We would like to invite researchers to submit abstracts to present talks and posters at the event. We welcome a broad range of topics in ecology that can be related to agriculture in some way.
Submit abstracts to: email@example.com
A prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for both talks and posters will be awarded.
We will also head over to The Blue Lion (http://the-blue-lion.co.uk/) after the event for some drinks!
Travel subsidies of up to £20 are now available to the first 30 registered delegates. Claim forms will be provided at the event with your programme.
