Event description

Description

The North West AHP Network and the University of Central Lancashire will be holding a joint event to promote and support AHP first contact roles. We will showcase first contact examples from across allied health professions, explore the new Advanced Clinical Practice framework and explain the new Level 7 module funded by the North West AHP Network and designed and delivered by the University of Central Lancashire next year. This module is designed to support development of AHP First Contact practitioners and will be funded for relevant AHP professionals across the North West starting in Spring 2018.

The event will also be an opportunity to network across professions and work together to share knowledge, explore and develop potential new roles. Workshops will help individuals to identify barriers and enablers to service redesign and develop local action plans for workforce transformation.

This event is open to all AHPs across the North West from all sectors.

Speakers include:

Gillian Rawlinson - Senior Lecturer Physiotherapy, UCLAN / Advanced Practitioner / AHP Fellow Health Education England
