SADRC is pleased to host a practical training session on AI Applications and Confidentiality in International Arbitration.

The session will use publicly available AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and NotebookLM to demonstrate real-world scenarios. We will examine how artificial intelligence is increasingly applied in arbitration practice and what this means for confidentiality obligations.

Topics will include data exposure risks, AI-driven document handling, and cloud-based processing. We will also discuss safeguards that practitioners and institutions can adopt to manage these risks effectively.

Participants will gain practical know-how on identifying confidentiality risks in AI tools, ensuring compliance with arbitral rules, and applying strategies that protect sensitive party information while still leveraging AI for efficiency.

This event is moderated by Prof. Emilia Onyema.
