AI-Assisted Community Workshop on Heatwaves and Overheating in East London
You are invited to take part in a community workshop exploring how heatwaves affect daily life in East London and how we can work together to find local solutions with the help with AI-agent facilitation tool. This is a research project funded through UCL Positive Futures Fund.
What to expect from the workshop:
This workshop aims to explore how heatwaves and overheating impact residents in East London, particularly vulnerable groups such as the elderly, renters, and low-income households. Using AI-supported tools, we will gather local open source data, co-develop strategies, and identify practical solutions to reduce overheating in homes and communities. The workshop is part of a broader effort to support community-led climate resilience and inform local policy. The workshop also aims to support improve our understandings of how to leverage AI tools in supporting participatory tool.
In return, participants can learn about our new AI-assisted workshop tool, and understanding how such AI tools can be used to prepare and assist participatory conversations, and in particular its role in processing and synthesising strategies. On a practical level, they can get a summary of the strategies discussed during the workshop.
Light food and refreshments will be provided. Participants will be compensated with a participation online coupon.
