Eagle Lab Birmingham brings you 'AI: Demystifying the Hype' as part of Birmingham Tech Week.

Eagle Lab resident and Youth4AI founder Kari Lawler will be explaining AI, without the technical jargon! A description of the AI we are using today, and the applications of it, as well as touching on what the future might look like and how the perception of AI affects the industry. 

This will be followed by an interactive workshop (BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP) where you will build a convolutional neural network image classifier, utilising the IBM Watson image API. Following a three-step process, starting with data collection, then training a neural network, and finally testing the finished model. (Please note: This might sound very complicated, but I assure you it’s a pretty easy and a fun project to complete, that even novices to coding can do!)
