The theme of this discussion will be: "What is the role of arts/humanities people in AI?"

Speakers:

Michael Axelgaard

Michael Axelgaard is a Founder and General Partner at AI Seed, the London-based investment fund with the largest portfolio of pure play AI companies in the world. Michael was trained as a chemical engineer and later moved into finance, and he utilises a combination of his engineering skills and business experience when investing in AI companies.

Anna Gát

Anna Gát is CEO and co-founder of the startup Actual, which is building an AI-mediated chat app for deeper personal relationships. She has also co-founded Ixy Labs which investigates the future of private life. She comes from an academic background of linguistics, philosophy and drama, and has been researching the nature of human dialogue since kindergarten.

Moderator: Chrystal Ding

Chrystal is an Artist/Writer who works in AI and makes work about the intersections of technology and human interest. She has exhibited work at the Wellcome Genome Campus, UK parliament and Elysium Gallery. Her background is a combination of English, Photojournalism, and Advertising.
