The third edition of Brighton’s XReactive tech meetup - a new cyclic event that provides a platform for art+tech professionals, creative coders, immersive creators, and everyone interested in xcreative technology. This time, we will focus on how to combine AI systems with physical reality, with a showcase of work from Brad Rumbl, Robert Edlin (Eventive games) and Hendo AI. Additionally, there will be a first public test of Virtue Merror - AI-enabled interactive mirror from Holycircuit studio.

Brad Rumbl - AILA - conversational AI installation case study

Brad Rumbl is a multidisciplinary artist whose work combines XR, AI, and installation to explore psychology, philosophy, and consciousness. At the meetup, he will present AILA, an installation featuring multiple AI-driven heads that embody Jungian archetypes and contemporary issues.

Robert Edlin - AI photobooth from Eventive Games

I'm excited to have the AI Photobooth from Eventive Games at the meetup! The booth transforms guest photos into themed AI avatars in seconds, printing out branded keepsake cards and offering a fun look at the creative potential of AI in live events.

I’ll also be chatting a bit about how I built the booth — from the hardware and design to the AI image generation pipeline — and sharing some behind-the-scenes insight into running interactive tech at exhibitions and events.
