Dr Mikhail Vasenin
Mikhail is an Assistant Professor in Finance at Northumbria University, specialising in AI-enabled analytics and quantitative finance. He is also the founder of Osiris Systems Limited, a company that is empowering data-driven decisions and offering advanced analytics for business growth. His research spans cryptocurrencies, financial economics and market efficiency. Mikhail blends academic rigour with hands-on product building to help organisations put AI to work responsibly and at pace.
Dr Yulia Dzenkovska
Yulia is an entrepreneur who specialises in helping businesses improve their customer experience, AI adoption, and service innovation. She is the founder and director of Service Design North Ltd, an agency with a mission to support organisations in designing and innovating services that have a positive impact on people’s lives. Yulia combines creative thinking with the practical use of AI to make real improvements in how businesses work. She is also a BIPC North East Expert in Residence for AI and Customer Experience Management, and leads Mint Stitches CIC, a social enterprise that uses cross-stitching to support wellbeing, spark creativity, and bring communities together.
