Are there other AI Fringe events besides the Hub events, and if so, how do I register for them?

Other AI Fringe events will take place around London and across the UK. Programme information for these events will appear on aifringe.org/events.  Please see the other AI Fringe event websites for registration and programme information.

Yes, they are free for those who have registered for tickets.

Who is invited to attend events at the AI Fringe Hub?

Accepted Answer

We aim to have interested members of the public, civil society, academia and industry participate in events at the AI Fringe Hub. We would encourage members of all communities - particularly underrepresented communities - to register for tickets as soon as possible.

Are there separate registrations for each day of events at the AI Fringe Hub?

Accepted Answer

Online registration is available separately for each of the five event days at the AI Fringe Hub.  Pending availability, you can register for anywhere from one to five days of the AI Fringe Hub events.

Does a ticket guarantee you entry to events at the AI Fringe Hub?

Space is limited at the AI Fringe Hub, and we will fill it to capacity. A ticket does not guarantee entry to the event.  We encourage you to arrive early.

Does a ticket guarantee you a seat in the AI Fringe Hub theatre?

Accepted Answer

There are limited seats at the AI Fringe Hub theatre, where the conference programme will take place. A limited amount of overflow seating is also available.  A ticket does not guarantee a seat in the Hub theatre.

Are there reserved seats for events at the AI Fringe Hub?

Theatre seating at the AI Fringe Hub is on a first-come, first-served basis every day. There are no reserved seats, so it’s a good idea to arrive early to ensure admission and a seat in the theatre.

Will events at the AI Fringe Hub be live streamed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they will be live streamed on the AI Fringe YouTube channel.

Will events at the AI Fringe Hub be filmed?

Accepted Answer

Hub theatre events will be filmed, and recordings of the events will be available on the AI Fringe YouTube channel.  We aim to have them available as soon as four hours after the event.

Accessibility: How do I discuss accessibility needs related to events at the AI Fringe Hub?

If you have any accessibility needs related to events at the AI Fringe Hub, you can let us know when registering, or by emailing events@aifringe.org. Letting us know before your presence onsite at the event enables us to respond most effectively.

Accessibility: What accessibility support is available at events at the AI Fringe Hub?

Accepted Answer

The AI Fringe Hub venue has a lift, wheelchair accessibility in the theatre, and accessible lavatories.  We will provide captioning for all programming both in person and online.

The AI Fringe believes that AI conversations should be accessible and inclusive for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, and religion.

Refrain from unacceptable behaviour, including but not limited to intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct of any kind, and offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.

Refrain from inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides), and harassing photography or recording.

Refrain from deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following; sustained disruption of talks or other events; and inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.

All partners, event organisers, speakers and staff must support inclusivity through thoughtful content, event design, and conduct.  They must ensure that event content in no way encourages harm to people or communities through the use of AI.

AI Fringe staff may take any reasonable action they deem appropriate to ensure that the behaviour stops. That includes but is not limited to: expulsion from the conference without warning, reporting the incident to the police, and removing relevant content from the AI Fringe website.
