Join NEAA and East Durham College for a focused, practical webinar exploring the real-world impact of artificial intelligence in business and professional contexts.

This session is designed for those seeking to move beyond AI hype and gain a grounded understanding of how to use these tools effectively and ethically.

We'll begin with a brief introduction to the current AI landscape, looking at what really matters for everyday use. From there, we'll delve into best practices in prompt engineering - equipping you with strategies to get consistently high-quality results from AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini.

Next, we’ll explore a selection of practical tools, including NotebookLM and custom GPTs, with demonstrations of how they can support a host of business uses.

The session will close with an honest discussion around ethics and the risks of AI, including issues of bias, misinformation, overreliance, and the environmental footprint of large models. There will be time for questions and discussion throughout!

The webinar session will be run by Andrew Cummins, Area Vocational Lead IT at East Durham College.

Whether you’re AI-curious or already experimenting, this webinar will give you practical insights to take this forward with confidence.
