Linda Shetabi is a Lecturer and the Director of the MSc Conservation Programme at the Division of Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Shetabi is a well-recognised international policy analyst with expertise in heritage conservation and sustainable development, actively contributing to the ICOMOS SDG Working Group and the NGO Major Group. Her work supports non-governmental organizations' engagement with the UN High-Level Political Forum, fostering global partnerships that harness cultural heritage for sustainable development. As a co-author of the ICOMOS publication Heritage and the Sustainable Development Goals: Policy Guidance for Heritage and Development Actors, Linda provides critical policy guidance for stakeholders in positioning heritage as a vital component of sustainable strategies. Linda’s current research interests include the use of Artificial Intelligence in Heritage Conservation and developing Ethical Guidelines for its use in heritage conservation.
