About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours
AI is here to stay. Many of you will already be embracing AI tools to help manage service delivery – for example through online triage, consultation notes and/or action workflows. You may also be using generative AI to help draft policies, processes, workflow illustrations and even complaints responses. Or using ambient AI tools to listen in to meetings so that transcriptions, summaries and action plans can be efficiently created and cascaded.
It may be that you are really positive about AI and actively involved in the local commissioning and testing of new tools or – conversely - you may be concerned about how these tools will impact your practice, and how you will manage their integration into existing systems of working.
This interactive course is designed to explore:
- practical experience of AI - the tools being used, how and for what purpose (clinical and non-clinical)
- the specific medicolegal and professional risks associated with the identified range of uses
- how you can work with your team to plan to mitigate the risks in practice
Attendees will leave feeling more informed and able to take ideas and challenges back to their teams for deeper discussion.
This member-only course is available for all GPs and PMs, clinical leads, and assistant PMs from group schemes.
This course is led by Liz Price, Head of Training, CPD and Risk Advisory Services, and Kay Louise Grant, MDDUS advisor.
Upon completion, a certificate detailing 3 hours of verifiable CPD will be provided by MDDUS to all attendees.
Please read before booking:
- You MUST have a webcam, speaker and microphone available on the device you intend use to access the training. This will ensure you are able to fully engage with the speaker/other delegates. This also allows our CPD verification process to be robust.
- You MUST be able to access and fully participate in a Zoom meeting from whatever device you choose to use. Please cut and paste the following URL into your internet browser to access help on how to do this. The page includes the option to join a ‘test meeting’ from the device you intend to use. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-meeting
- If you experience any technical difficulty when checking you can access Zoom it could be because your local IT support is blocking access. If this happens you might consider using your own mobile device instead – Zoom works well on tablets.
