AI in the Real World (Intro Plus): Smarter Prompts for Everyday Impact

This 60-minute interactive session is for charity staff, volunteers, and community workers who already joined the AI in the Real World (Intro) workshop or have some familiarity with AI tools. We’ll focus on writing smarter prompts and getting better results from AI tools in everyday third-sector work.

What you’ll learn:

• How to write effective AI prompts for tasks like grant writing, social media posts, and summarising reports
• Techniques for adapting AI outputs to your organisation’s voice and needs
• Ways to use AI inclusively and ethically (generating alt text, creating Easy Read content, avoiding bias)
• Live examples, reusable prompt templates, and a safe space to experiment
