About this event
Lunch & Learn: AI literacy for businesses (for up to 10 team members)
Grab your sandwich and join us for a jargon-free, stress-free look at how AI can actually help your business.
If you’re leading a small or mid-sized business, curious about AI but put off by jargon adn hype, this session is for you.
AI isn’t just for tech giants. It’s for people juggling growth, compliance, and spreadsheets held together by hope. The truth? Most UK SMEs are still waiting, unsure where to start, worried about cost or unsure what’s even useful.
This session will show you:
• What AI really means for your business (no robots, no nonsense)• How to spot simple, practical wins without risking your data or reputation• Why the EU AI Act matters, even in the UK and what it means for your team• How to build AI confidence across your business and work more efficiently
You’ll leave with:• A clearer view of where AI fits (and where it doesn’t)• Real steps to upskill your team, without huge time or cost• The right questions to ask before you commit to tools or training
No pressure. No big promises. Just a helpful session for real businesses facing real challenges.
Take a smarter lunch break. And walk away with a clearer head and next steps.

Frequently asked questions
Any business owner, team leader and their team members who want to understand AI so they can use AI tools competently, confidently and in a safe and responsible way.
Not at all - the session is designed for people who are new to AI or still finding their feet. You won't be asked to code anything, promise. A ChatGPT account is useful but not essential.
No problem. We will do our best to find a more suitable time that fits around everyone's diaries.
Yes, of course. In fact, I'm counting on it. The final 15 minutes are dedicated to Q&A. No questions too small or too daft. We're here to make this easier and create a safe space for asking whatever you like!
Just make sure you have Zoom installed and ready to be accessed. Everything else will be live and I will share resources afterwards.
In short: yes. You'll leave with more clarity, more confidence and AI knowledge that you can put to good practice in you working days. Also, if you ensure you keep a record of this training session you are fulfilling your duty as an employer to train your staff on AI literacy. Way to go!
