About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Collaborating with local open technology communities across India, OpenUK and its new sister organisation OpenHQ, will raise awareness of the AI Impact Summit being hosted in 6 months by India, through a series of community-focused and policy events across India.

This series of events across in India in August 2025 will continue the conversation opened by Prime Minister Modi at the Paris AI Action Summit in 2025, which mentioned the need for “access for all” to AI through “open source AI.”

The purpose of these events is to help the local communities engage and shape the conversation on AI in advance of the policy makers building the Indian AI Impact Summit agenda, for 2026, https://impact.indiaai.gov.in/home
