Ail Feddwl Straen/ Re-thinking Stress

Trosolwg o'r cwrs:

Mae straen yn anochel mewn amgylcheddau perfformiad uchel fel y diwydiannau creadigol. Mae adeiladu meddylfryd cadarnhaol yn ein cefnogi i ailfeddwl ein perthynas â straen. Sut gallwn ni ryngweithio â'n straen bywyd a'n tiwnio i mewn i'r straen cadarnhaol sy'n ein galluogi i fod yn gynhyrchiol heb ansefydloleiddio ein bywydau?

Course overview:

Stress is inevitable in high performance environments like the creative industries. Building a positive stress mindset can support us to re-think our relationship with stress. How can we interact with our life stressors and tune into the positive stress that allows us to be productive without destabilising our lives?

Ar gyfer pwy?

Mae'r sesiwn hon ar gyfer pobl sy'n gweithio yn y diwydiannau creadigol yng Nghymru sy'n teimlo eu bod yn cael eu effeithio'n negyddol gan lefelau eu straen. Mae ar gyfer unrhyw un a hoffai fynd i'r afael â'u perthynas â straen ac archwilio safiad a meddylfryd cadarnhaol gan ganiatáu ar gyfer mwy o berfformiad yn y gweithle a gwell ansawdd bywyd.

For who?

This session is for people working in the creative industries in Wales who feel they are negatively impacted by their stress levels. It is for anyone who would like to address their relationship with stress and explore a more positive stance and mindset allowing for increased performance in the workplace and better quality of life.

Erbyn diwedd y sesiwn hon dylech allu:

  • Egluro bod straen wedi esblygu i ganolbwyntio ar straen negyddol yn hytrach na straen cadarnhaol.
  • Nodi yn union sut a ble mae straen yn effeithio arnoch yn negyddol.
  • Disgrifio y gwahaniaethau rhwng straen negyddol a straen cadarnhaol.
  • Canfod y gwahaniaethau rhwng bygythiad a her – symud eich meddylfryd a nodi eich adnoddau.
  • Ailddiffinio eich naratif straen a'ch iaith.
  • Creu cynllun 'adfer o straen' ar gyfer eich bywyd eich hun.

By the end of this session you should be able to:

  • Clarify that stress evolved to focus on negative stress rather than positive stress.
  • Identify precisely how and where stress is impacting you negatively.
  • Describe the differentials between negative stress and positive stress.
  • Discern the differences between threat and challenge – shift your mindset and identify your resources.
  • Redefine your stress narratives and language.
  • Create a ‘recovery from stress’ plan for your own life.
