About this event

👶 Strengthening Bonds with VIPPJoin us to explore Video-Feedback Intervention to Promote Positive Parenting (VIPP) — a powerful, research-based approach to help parents and caregivers connect with their babies.

📹 Through video feedback, VIPP supports caregivers to:✨ Notice and respond to their baby’s cues✨ Deepen understanding of child development✨ Nurture secure attachment and empathy

In this session, we’ll focus on using VIPP with infants — including practical techniques like “speaking for the child” and “turning up the volume” on moments of connection.

💡 Leave with fresh ideas for using video-feedback to build strong, loving relationships from the very start.

🎤 Speaker: Dr Jess Elmer — Principal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS, Clinical Lead for a specialist under-5s team offering therapy from pregnancy to age 5, and VIPP Lead at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
