Description

Air quality is a highly topical issue for a good reason: The air we breathe is foundational for our health. We all know that poor air quality is detrimental to human welfare and a very costly burden for a society’s health system, but to change the status quo takes political will. In this seminar, we will look closely at solutions that can make our cities healthier for all, improve the air quality and lower the pollution.

Chair:

  • Dr. Gary Fuller, Environmental Research Group, King's College London

Speakers:

  • Elliot Treharne, Air Quality Manager, Greater London Authority

  • Sara Røpke, Head of Department, The Danish Environmental Protection Agency

  • Jakob Strømann-Andersen, Partner, Henning Larsen Architects

  • Ned Johnson, Air Quality Manager, London Borough of Enfield

  • Gyorgyi Galik, Design Researcher, Future Cities Catapult

  • Vinay Venkatraman, CEO, Leapcraft (TBC)
