Event description

Description

We are delighted that the incredibly talented Alan Bissett is coming back up to the Highland Capital.

Alan will be discussing his journey through his highly motivated and vocal 2014 Campaigning to the present day, and the determination felt through out the Country for an Independent Scotland.

Alan is an author, playwright and a “Cultural Ambassador” for the National Collective, a creative organisation which supported Scottish Independence. He is the saltirical “Fawkurt” lad who gained a First Calss Honours Degree in English Literature and Education. We, of course, all know him for his highly acclaimed “Moira Monologues“ amongst many other achievements.

Alan travelled all over Scotland during the 2014 Independence Campaign. “At every single town, in community centre’s and town halls they are packed with people ~ thirsty for politics, who are debating all these ideas about where Scotland could go.”

Come along and see if he still feels the same.

Looking forward to the Questions and Answers!!

Admission is free and booking your ticket is advisable for room set up.
