Event description

Description

Ever wondered whether it’s possible to costume in a more socially responsible way? Taking the lead from progress already made in the Fashion Industry, this is a practical event for costume designers and other industry creatives to review the social and environmental impacts of our work and to investigate the potential to source, manufacture and consume in a different way.

With contributions from BAFTA-winning industry talent including Jacqueline Durran (Beauty and the Beast, Atonement) and Emmy winning Clare Spragge (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) as well as insights from The Costume Directory’s Sinead O’Sullivan and Fashion Revolution’s Orsolo de Castro, this will be an opportunity for discussion and to be introduced to some of the most exciting cleanest, greenest and fairest fabric and fashion out there.

This event will be followed by networking drinks and a showcase of responsibly produced materials supplied by The Sustainable Angle.

With thanks to The Costume Directory
