Alby's Braunton 10 Mile and the Steph Irwin 10K 2017
Sun 22 January 2017, 11:00 – 14:00 GMT
ONLINE ENTRIES NOW CLOSED, WE WILL BE ACCEPTING ENTRIES ON THE DAY
The Braunton 10 is one of NDRR's oldest races and one of our most popular. It's a 10 mile road race, with 2 infamous climbs designed to test the legs and spirit!
New for 2017, we are introducing a 10k option. This will provide some similar challenges with hills and retain the overall feel of the original course whilst being shorter. So, which will you enter? The 10k or the 10 mile? The 10k route is open to runners age 16 and over and the 10 miler is open to runners aged 18 and over.
The race HQ is at Braunton Community College and there are changing facilities and showers. Tea and cakes are available in the hall before, during and after the race.
Parking is very limited so please arrive early and follow the parking marshals guidance. Please car share wherever possible to minimise parking issues.
The race will take place pretty much regardless of the weather so please ensure that you are adequately prepared.
There are 2 water stations on the course, mile markers and it is very well signed.
There are prizes for 1,2 and 3rd in the Male and female race.
And a winner's prize in the following categories:
There will be entries on the day, they will cost £2.00 extra. Please read the guidelines about whether you are Affiliated or Unaffiliated.
