About this event

Aldgate Connect BID invites you to join our walking tour led by Migration Museum, and discover how migration has shaped Aldgate and wider London. The tour is part of the Stories of Aldgate, an exhibition which captures the voices and lived experiences of those who live, work and study in Aldgate and make it such an iconic corner of London.

Explore the streets where hundreds of stories, over thousands of years, demonstrate how migration is woven into the fabric of our society. From Jewish Synagogues to hidden monuments, and surprising stories of notable buildings, this tour shines a light on how migration shaped (and continues to shape) the heart of London across the centuries.

Meet the Migration Museum tour guide outside SENZO City, by the City Wall at Vine Street at 12:30pm, and join our hour walk exploring the iconic history of the area.
