Flautist, Clarinettist and Saxophonist Amy Roberts is a multi-award-winning musician from Cornwall. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a first class honours degree in Classical Performance in 2011. Whilst at college Amy recieved the Martyn Edwards Bursary Scholarship for Outstanding Jazz Performance and was selected as the only woodwind student to perform in the finals of the RNCM Gold Medal Competition - the highest level competition at the college.

She has been celebrated in the British Jazz Awards, winning the Rising Star Category in both 2009 and 2011, then topping the Miscellaneous category for her flute playing in 2015.

Playing experiences have included a 4 year stint with the Big Chris Barber Band, freelance work with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Matthew Herbert's Brexit Big Band, The Super Big Tramp Band, London Swing Orchestra among many others.

Amy's work in theatres has included, My Fair Lady, Singing in the Rain, Syncopation, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Matilda, Berlin Berlin and Kinky Boots.

The Craig Milverton Trio with Ashley John Long on Bass and Alex Goodyear on Drums will be backing.

Craig Milverton is one of Britain's finest Jazz Pianists. In 2010 Craig was winner of Best Jazz Pianist in the Best Small Group Category at the British Jazz Awards with Digby Fairweather and his Half Dozen. Few British pianists have Craig’s thorough knowledge and grasp of jazz styles.

Ashley John Long is an award-winning virtuoso double bassist and composer active in a diverse range of musical idioms including jazz and improvisation, early and contemporary chamber music, and as a soloist. He works regularly with Craig's groups where his astonishing ability is featured to great effect .


Performance starts at 7:30pm, doors from 6:30pm with bar available.
