Multiple Dates
Alexandra Park, London, Tree Climbing 2015
Event Information
Description
After the success of the parks 150th anniversary we bring you The Great Big Tree Climbing Company.
Two highly skilled and friendly instructors can help all ages reach new heights in a fantastic oak tree in Ally Pally. They will teach you how to enter a tree's canopy using ropes, knots and karabiners, whilst being securely attached in a harness at all times. Once at the top of the tree you will gain an experience which can't be found on the ground whilst hanging out in the canopy and if you're feeling brave you could try some branch walking before returning safely to the ground. Each session is run for up to 8 people, creating a unique and intimate experience.
Activities are suitable for ages 6 to 100! We encourage the whole family to participate or feel free to watch and photograph that special moment of your child climbing high into the canopy of a tree for the first time.
Those wishing to book in birthday parties may wish to consider booking consecutive hours if the party is larger than 8 people.
For details about how we can adapt activities for those with special needs please contact info@bigtreeclimbing.co.uk in advance and he would be delighted to discuss your requirements
In the event of high winds or thunder and lightening on the day, the event will be postponed
FAQs

Participants should be a minimum of 6 years old as the technique taught is slightly complex and children younger than 6 are unlikely to grasp the concept.

Yes it most definitely is. Furthermore we thoroughly recommend adults participate alongside the children they are accompanying.
I am accompanying my children, do I have to buy a ticket for myself?
No, you only need to buy one if you are planning to participate in the climbing. If you plan just to watch you do not need a ticket.
Can I take photos on the day?
Of course you can! We encourage you to share your best ones on our Facebook page too. If you sign our photo permission slip we may take photos of you or your children and put them on Facebook.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
That is fine. As long as you can quote the name of the individual who bought the ticket.
I'm struggling to complete payment, why is this?
