This is a mathematics workshop to be held in the School of Mathematics and Physics, 10 -- 13 June 2024, at the University of Portsmouth. The topic of the workshop is the algebraic and geometric theory of differential and difference equations, such as differential and discrete Painlevé equations, quasi-Painlevé type equations, special functions, and related topics. There will be a number of international key-note speakers as well as contributed talks. PhD students are strongly encouraged to attend and should get in contact with the organisers regarding financial support to attend the workshop. For more information see the workshop website.
