About this event

Join us on Friday 28th June at 7pm as we welcome both Ali Millar and Keiran Goddard to discuss their novels, Ava Anna Ada and I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning!

Called "a bleeding, sweating novel" by The Guardian, and compared to Nabokov by Stuart Kelly, Ava Anna Ada (White Rabbit, 2024) is Ali Millar’s debut novel. In 2024 The Scotsman named her their artist to watch in books. Her debut memoir, The Last Days (Penguin Random House), was released in 2022 to widespread critical acclaim, becoming a Guardian Book of the Year.

Keiran Goddard is a novelist, poet and social commentator. His debut poetry collection was shortlisted for the Melita Hulme and William Blake prizes, and his debut novel Hourglass was longlisted for the Desmond Elliott prize. His latest novel, I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning, has been published to widespread acclaim, with the Guardian calling it “striking, moving and subtly radical”.
