Led by alice hiller, this regenerative workshop is built around the stages of the annual Osiris ceremonies to create a process which supports participants in seeding and nurturing works of creative regrowth beyond trauma.
We will work with poems by Audre Lorde, CAConrad, Paul Tran, Valzhyna Mort, Rebecca Perry, Victoria Kenneflick, Eira Murphy, Rachel Kyung-Joo Shin and Helen Calcutt, in conjunction with photographs of Ancient Egyptian ritual objects. Following a carefully structured sequence of prompted exercises, interleaved with discussions, we will explore together how we can ground ourselves in the strength of our bodies, and the beauty of the natural world, more safely to re-encounter times of danger and loss, and record our journeys beyond them towards healing and new life.
