Event description
Part of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society Inspiring People talks programme. Alice walks the length of Morocco's Draa River.

About this Event

In March 2019, author, adventurer and TV presenter Alice Morrison became the first woman to walk the length of Morocco’s longest river. Her aim was to explore the river’s different environments, to learn more about the nomads who inhabit the area, and to investigate the effects of climate change on the region. This is the story of Alice’s 1500km journey with her three Amazigh companions and five camels!

Tickets are on sale here or on the door; RSGS Members and students are entitled to free entry on the door - all subject to availability.
