Everything you ever wanted to know about Agatha Christie but were afraid to ask!
At 6.30pm on 11th October, join three authorities on the life and works of Agatha Christie for our evening: All About Agatha.
Sophie Hannah is an internationally bestselling writer of psychological crime fiction. In 2014, with the blessing of Agatha Christie’s family and estate, Sophie published a new Hercule Poirot novel, The Monogram Murders, which was a bestseller in more than fifteen countries. In September 2016, her second Poirot novel, Closed Casket, will be published.
Dr John Curran acted as consultant to the National Trust during the renovation of Agatha Christie's former home, Greenway House. His Edgar-nominated Agatha Christie’s Secret Notebooks (2009) won the 2011 Agatha, Anthony and Macavity Awards and his Agatha Christie’s Murder in the Making was nominated for the same awards in September 2011. His most recent publication, Tom Adams Uncovered: The Art of Agatha Christie, was co-authored with the artist Tom Adams who painted over a hundred Christie book covers.
Julius Green is the founder of The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2015. In 2001 he produced the twelve-week Agatha Christie Theatre Festival, presenting a repertoire of the complete stage works of Agatha Christie, as then known. Julius' latest book is Curtain Up: Agatha Christie – A Life in Theatre, which was published in 2015 as part of the Agatha Christie 125th anniversary celebrations.
