All Day Ticket

One hour from London, located in the “artists’ city” of Brighton on Britain’s South Coast, and densely packed into a set of four Victorian cellars under Brighton main terminus station covering four thousand square feet.

The museum houses one of the world's finest collections of vintage model trains and toys, – preserving childhood memories, nostalgia and social history. With over 12,000 items to look at, family activities to do, and old penny arcade machines there’s something for the whole family to enjoy!

A booking fee will be applied at check-out.

Schools and groups of 12 or more must contact the museum in advance before booking. Please get in touch with us at info@brightontoymuseum.co.uk

Frequently asked questions

How does the All Day Ticket work?

You can visit at any time during our opening hours. As it is an All Day Ticket you can also come in and out as many times as you like throughout the day. Last admission is 4:30pm.

How long does it take to go around the museum?

We recommend 45 minutes to 1 hour, but as we have over 12,000 items packed in floor to ceiling you could spend a lot longer looking at every individual item.

Do you have visitor parking?

Due to our location we do not have visitor parking. We recommend using the car park at Brighton Station or Trafalgar Street car park.

Do you have a cafe or anywhere to buy refreshments?

We do not have a cafe or offer any refreshments. However, there are many great places to eat and drink in the North Laine area of Brighton, and the One Day Ticket lets you come and go as you wish.

I am a carer for a child - is there a different ticket option?

Children who require a carer to attend the museum are charged at the child rate and the carer is free to attend. Please note, this is 1 free carer per child.

Do you have toilets?

We have visitor toilets in the museum foyer. This includes a wheelchair-accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
