The museum houses one of the world's finest collections of vintage model trains and toys – preserving childhood memories, nostalgia and social history. With over 12,000 items to look at, family activities to do, and old penny arcade machines, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy!

*Temporary Admission Discounts During Trafalgar Street Regeneration Works
From September 1 to October 17, visitors will enjoy 25% off standard admission prices while the first stage of the Trafalgar Street Regeneration Project is underway.
During this period:
- The museum will operate on a card-only payment system for admissions.
- Access will be temporarily limited for visitors requiring step-free entry, including to toilet facilities.
- Our museum shop will not be open for general browsing, but will remain accessible for admitted guests only.
