All Hallows Folkwalk:
A short circular walk around Sandwich celebrating the seasonal folklore, customs and rituals of Allhallowstide.
Led by writer, walking artist and psychogeographer Sonia Overall.
What to expect:
- A warming welcome drink, and a seasonal treat en route.
- A circular walk beginning and ending at an accessible location, with public car park nearby.
- Easy town-centre terrain, involving some narrow lanes.
- An introduction to the folklore and customs of Allhallowstide.
- Light-hearted ritual actions, readings and song at atmospheric stops along the way.
Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance. Details of location and logistics will be sent to ticket holders in advance of the walk.
This is a walk outside, subject to the elements. Please dress appropriately for the weather with sensible footwear.
Suitable for ages 16+.
NB: The walk will go ahead unless weather is so severe as to be unsafe. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the host.
