Hi, I'm Em and I love running!

Welcome to All Kindsa Runners - a new beginners running collective for the LGBTQ+ community! 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧

Back in 2023, I was training for the New York City Marathon (first ever time running a marathon) and even though it was tough, it challenged me in ways I never thought were possible. Prior to this, I'd describe myself as an average runner. Some days I'd run 5K, other days I'd run up to 15K, I liked to mix it up and there wasn't really a plan.

Then I discovered the RUNNA app and started pushing myself more. I’d always thought I preferred running solo over running with someone or in a group. But while training for the marathon, I realised that although running had always felt like a solitary thing for me - it doesn’t have to be.

I love the idea of running with a community of like-minded people where pace times and speed aren't important. It's finding and being in community with others that makes the experience of running enjoyable.

This is why I started All Kindsa Runners - for ALL LGBTQ+ Women / AFAB Non-Binary people who love running. It’s a space that welcomes both beginners and seasoned runners who are happy to adapt their pace. I want to bring people together to move our bodies a bit, have some nice chats and help others create connections along the way.

The vibe is super chill, whether you’re up for meeting new people, going for a leisurely jog, or pushing yourself (totally up to you) - come enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park, get moving, and have a great time doing it. All abilities welcome into a safe and inclusive space for all women and AFAB non-binary people in the LGBTQ+ community.

This will be the first run in a park for All Kindsa Runners. Up to 20 spots available but if numbers are significantly low, then we will reschedule.

See you there!
