Event description

Description

This 10 week course introduces several types of monoprinting, and then relief and intaglio techniques using simple materials such as lino, card and plastic. We will use two types of printing press but most of the techniques need no specialist equipment so you can continue working with them outside the course. No experience or art training needed. Returning students or others familiar with the techniques are welcome, and may work independently or try more advanced techniques.

Most materials are provided, but you may want to purchase some extra paper. Please wear old clothes as printing can be messy.

Costs: £160
Days: 10 Thursday mornings
Times: 10:00 - 13:00
Dates: 18 January - 22 March
Room: Red room
Maximum: 10
