All Man: Peer Counselling Skills Programme
Fri 4 November 2016, 11:00 – 17:00 GMT
In today's society it is all too easy to feel lonely and disconnected from others and this can have a negative impact on our mental health and the quality of our life. This very special male only programme addresses this issue.
Here at Talk for Health we know that true connection happens when we let go of our social masks and start being who we really are and that this is why we run our 4.5 day wellbeing programme: to help you feel more connected to yourself and other people.
We invite you to come and enjoy a two hour taster session of our programme, which is FREE for men living in Islington and Camden and designed to help you find out if the programme is right for you.
The taster will give you a chance to experience some of the four key learning areas of our full programme:
Open and truthful talking
Basic counselling skills
Building supportive relationships
Come join us and learn how to talk to for a fit mind!
If you enjoy the taster session you can sign up for the full programme. The times and dates for this programme are as follows:
Four x Fridays from 11:00 - 17:00: 4th, 11th, 18th and 28th November
After the programme you will have access to free peer support groups, more psychology learning opportunities and a growing community of caring and supportive people!
If you have any questions at all, please call Kate or text 'call me' on 07826 148 461 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that because we are funded by Islington NHS we have to give priority to Islington residents. If you live outside of the borough, please do sign up for the taster and if there are unfilled spaces you will be able to attend the programme. If you have any questions about this, just call us on the above number.
