Event description

Description

Staff, students, alumni, partners and friends of the University are invited to join us at Leeds Trinity University on Wednesday 1 November to celebrate All Saints Day 2017.

All Saints Day is the patronal feast day of Leeds Trinity University and the anniversary of when the name of our original Men’s College, All Saints, was decided. It is one of the key dates on the University calendar and has been celebrated every year since our foundation in 1966.

When?

Wednesday 1 November 2017
12.30 - 2.30pm

What's happening?

The day will start with a Mass in the University’s Chapel at 12.30pm and will be presided over by the Bishop of Leeds, Bishop Marcus Stock.

Following the Mass, there will be lots of celebratory activities on campus, including The Great Trinity Cake-Off, our Faces of Leeds Trinity photography project, and a showcase of recent University success in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, National Student Survey and Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey – which named us top in Yorkshire for teaching quality, student satisfaction and employability respectively.

A light lunch and refreshments will be served from 1.30pm with staff, students, alumni and guests all invited to join us.

From 2.00 until 3.00pm, there'll also be an opportunity to light a candle in our Chapel for Lightfever, and visit our University sports teams; all competing in the Leeds Trinity Varsity.

Where?

Leeds Trinity University Chapel and Atrium.
