On Wednesday 2 November, you’re invited to a very special 50th Anniversary celebration of All Saints Day at Leeds Trinity.
What’s All Saints Day?
Every year, Leeds Trinity University celebrates All Saints Day – a Catholic feast day and the anniversary of when the name of our original Men’s College, All Saints, was decided.
Taking place on Wednesday 2 November, our All Saints Day celebrations will be bigger and better than before. Lectures have been cancelled for the day to allow staff and students to take part in the activities and free parking will also be provided. The activities will include:
- A FREE Street Food Feast
Choose a free lunch from one of Leeds’ best-loved street food stalls, including Manjit's Kitchen and Golden Balls.
- The Great Trinity Cake-Off
Fancy yourself as the next Mary Berry? Enter the Great Trinity Cake Off with your best traybakes, cakes and cupcakes. There will be individual prizes for each category, as well as a prize for the best Hall contribution in each category. Get full details below.
- Vintage and Craft Fair

- 50th Anniversary Book Launch and talk from 1967 Lecturer, Mark Seaward

The launch will be followed by a talk from one of the first lecturers at Leeds Trinity, Mark Seaward titled "Launching the barque: the early days of TASC from a lecturer’s perspective" which will share his memories of teaching in the 60s.
- Celebratory Mass
A special All Saints Day Mass will be presided over by the Bishop of Leeds, Bishop Marcus Stock.
- Sports Open Day
Support our Football, Rugby Union and Squash sports teams at their home fixtures – hot refreshments will be provided and we’ll be treated to a performance by the Titans Cheerleaders.
