Description

BBC Pitch Battle Stars, All the King’s Men are one of the headline acts for this year’s Kensington Olympia Festival of Music and The Arts.

All the King's Men are an award-winning vocal group, founded at King's College London in 2009. Since then, the group have expanded, touring the east and west coasts of the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong and Italy. In 2015, AtKM were crowned Europe's best a capella act at the ICCA competition in London, before making their Broadway debut at the ICCA finals in New York. Already ‘heavyweights’ (Telegraph) of London’s West End, they made their first appearance at the Boston Sings A Cappella festival in 2016, where, as the only British group to have ever competed, they were awarded second place by a panel of Grammy Award winning artists and Swingle Singers. Now a staple act of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival after 6 years, AtKM’s show 'RADIO GAGA' was reviewed with 5 stars by Broadway Baby Magazine and awarded a Fringe Laurel to acknowledge its 'official sellout' status. The group was also nominated for four Darkchat awards for Fringe Performance including Best Song and Best Show. All the King’s Men record with American label, The Vocal Company, and their 5th studio album ‘11’ is due for release in June 2016, and has already been nominated for three Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs). Two songs from the album have been released as part of the music video trilogy, ‘Leave a Light On’
