All Things Bright & Beautiful: Spring Walk, 100 Acre Woods
Wed 22 March 2017, 10:00 – 13:00 GMT
You are warmly invited to join us for our second Woodland Walk, sponsored by the Friends of Portsmouth Cathedral, with eco-ranger Dr Sara Collins!
On our last walk just before Christmas, Sara's guided walk revealed to us many of the hidden treasures of the Hundred Acre Woods including a Squirrel's Table, helping us identify lots of different types of trees as well as knowing how to spot burrows for some of the many animals which live in the woods.
We'll be re-tracing our steps to see what has changed and what new secrets there are to discover - come and join us!
We will meet at the West Walk signpost, at 10am. The walk will take approximately an hour and a half and will involve some uneven terrain, so may not be suitable for very young children or anyone who is unstable on their feet. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn.
The walk will finish with a pub lunch. Please contact the Cathedral office on 023-9282-3300 for more details.
*Note: Parking charges at 100 Acre Woods are up to 2 hours £1.80, 2-4 hours £3.50 and over 4 hours £5.00
