Event description

Description

Join us for an engaging day of inspiration, challenge and action as we seek to tackle poverty and injustice in some of the world’s poorest communities.

We will enjoy the input of special guests, including:

  • Rev Dr Calvin Samuel, the current Principal of the London School of Theology, who will enthuse us on the biblical themes of justice and God’s heart for the poor.
  • The President and Vice President of the Methodist Conference, Rev Loraine Mellor and Jill Baker, who will be sharing insights from their visits to All We Can's work in Uganda and Ethiopia.
  • Geraldine Latty a talented songwriter, music lecturer and worship leader who has led people in worship at events, such as Spring Harvest.
  • Clever Tabaziba who manages a team tackling poverty in some of the poorest rural communities in Zimbabwe in partnership with All We Can.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided during the day. Please bring your own lunch to eat in the dining room (strongly recommended) or be prepared to source it from outlets such as Sainsbury’s, Costa, Nando's and others, which will be a 15 minute walk away.

Doors to the event will be open from 9.30am and will be closed at 19.00pm.

The event is free; however, there will be an opportunity to donate to All We Can if you wish to make a contribution on the day.
